We are in SA

Had a really easy trip over to SA.  Stopped overnight at Tintinarra in SA.  Excellent campspot.  Caught up at Mt.Pleasant (nr. the Barossa) with ourmotorhoming friends  Col and Liz (from Murray Bridge). We had seen them at Deniliquin but it was good to see them again.  Had a coffee and a long chat and then continued on our way and arrived at Auburn Caravan Park mid afternoon.  Its freezing cold here tonight.  Sat around the campfire, which was great, and now have adjourned inside for dinner. Will be leaving here sometime tomorrow, we think, for Port August.

Our travelling companions

Here is Helen & Eric, they were the managers of the Caravan Park in Auburn in S.A.  They have happily handed over the reins to come travelling with us.  We met them in Tassie, they were our motorhoming neighbours at the Tassie Rally.  They are as excited as us, to be finally starting the big trip..  Its been a big job for them to get everything organised, whilst running the caravan park, so they need a holiday !!!!!

The countdown to the trip

The day of departure is almost here.  Had a great day with our family today, celebrating our trip and the birthdays of Rachel, Kristel, Rick, Daniel & Justin.    Feeling sad to say goodbye to them but excited to be on our way.  Tomorrow we head off, should be in Sth Aust. tomorrow evening and then in Auburn, in the Clare Valley in S.A. on Tuesday night.
