Xmas in July in Mareeba

We arrived back in Mareeba to spend 4 days celebrating Xmas in July.    250+ motorhomes on site at the League Ground.   It was good to catch up with our Chapter friends again.   Dot celebrated her 70th and Ross his 60th and cakes were presented to each of them. The weather was warm, muggy and sometimes drizzly, but it didnt deter us from enjoying it immensely.   Every night there was entertainment and raffles and as you can see I was lucky.   Won 2 prizes, a bottle of tropical liqueur and a Mitre 10 hamper.   It was all about Xmas in July and so we sat down to a great Xmas dinner under the stars.   Mareeba is a great town, easy driving to a lot of attractions and once again we used it as a base to explore once more.
