Collecting Chevie parts in Junee

Made it into Junee, NSW on Sunday midday, where we met up with Ros and Tony.  Our friends from SA.  What a beautiful town.  Lots of very old buildings to admire.   Had lunch and then the boys headed off to see a local guy who had arranged to sell Rick parts for our 1960 Chev Project.    He was a very happy man with the parts he got.   It was freezing cold and wet..  Ros and I headed for the Old Licorice and Chocolate Factory.  A 5 storey old Flour Mill, bought by a local for $1 and then turned into a major tourist attraction.   Yum.

A chocolate smash cake.  Popular for weddings etc.   Solid choc.  The only way to get to the inside goodies is to smash it with a bat.  My sort of fun.

My favorite shoes come in Extra Large if I ever need a pair.  !!!!!!!  We spent two days in Junee, but it was arctic and we just got wet and cold.   Time to head for warmer climates.    We think our heater is working.   Yay.   We can be warm as toast inside at least.
The stunning old railway station in Junee.   Built in 1881.The inside of the refreshment rooms was amazing.   Taken thru the bus windscreen.

  1. Glad to hear Junee was an all round success for both girls and boys. Love that shop above the licorice. Got my elegant first pair of Krocs there.
