Carnarvon

Nothing much here.  Not even a nice beach as such.   Lots of plantations growing bananas, fruit trees, mangoes, tomatoes and veges.   The caravan park we stayed in was great and each day a local grower bought in fresh produce for a stall.  An honesty box and a price list and you helped yourself.  We bought up cucumbers, corn, tomatoes, beans, and bananas fresh off the tree.  The caravan park let us wash the bus (a first for WA!!!!!!!!!)  just asked for a gold coin donation for the flying doctors. so much salt, sand and red dust on it.  It changed color and looked amazingly good.  Wont last long.   Next stop is Denham and Monkey Mia, home to the dolphin feeding.  Have been told its not anything like the advertising brochures, so expect to be disappointed.    Must admit, most of the travel brochures we have been going by are often misleading.  Some things sound amazing and you just "cant miss them" and are then pretty crappy.  They make the most mundane thing sound interesting and after a big hard drive you go "Is that it"???????   (RICKS WORDS)  Not being cynical just honest.   Its still lovely and warm, cooler nights, cant bear the thought of getting out of my shorts & thongs for colder climates.
