On the other side of Exmouth away from the coastline is the back of the National Park. One of the drives into one of the canyons, was beaut. Huge sandstone cliffs, lots of color here, reds, brown, greens and yellows. It was a last minute decision to do the 4WD road but it was worth it, hard to imagine you are just a few kilometres from pristine bays and beaches. Exmouth is kinda isolated, but it is a really nice spot to stay and we were very impressed with it. In many ways it was nicer than Broome, and we loved Broome.
