Fathers Day

Our lovely kids - Daniel, Kristel, Justin & Rachel, gave Rick/Us a voucher for a local seafood restaurant for us to celebrate Fathers Day.   We had a great night out.  We havent had a night out alone since we left home and we were so looking forward to it.  Of course seafood, good wine and dessert was on the must haves for us.    Of course, chocolate dessert for me was a DEFINITE.   I was so craving something rich and sickly.

We had $$$ left over from our voucher so opted to spend it the next morning on breakfast.   We havent been out for breakfast, apart from Bali, we think for about 7 years!!!!!!!!  We both pigged out, sitting on the outdoor deck, in the sun, it was pure indulgence.  Once we were done  we then hit the road, leaving Exmouth and heading south again towards Carnarvon.     We could have called into Coral Bay again, as we had loved it, but opted to give it a miss and head on south.   We found ourselves so bushed from our big night/morning out, we had to pull over 2 hrs. in on our trip and have a "nana" nap.  Thats never happened before.    Slept for an hour, woke up refreshed and then hit the road again.   The excitement was obviously toooooo much for us oldies.THANKS KIDS.   xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
