Wildflowers of WA

We have been blessed to travel in WA during the wildflower season.  Wasnt sure what the fuss was all about until we started to see the flowers, some lining the highways, some distant covered hills, some just fields of color.  Too hard to capture the true colors out of the bus windows whilst travelling down the highway, so whenever we stopped for a cuppa or camped up, I tried to remember to start taking photos.  Have missed so many cos I was too lazy to take the camera out and didnt know what I was missing.

Most of these have been taken just over the last two days at Kalbarri National Park.  This park was the most beautiful in terms of scenery, both river gorges, wildflowers and coastal cliffs and gorges.

The road in from the Highway to Kalbarri, I think around 88kms or so, was nothing short of spectacular.  Everywhere you looked, especially the sides of the road, there was an abundance of wildflowers.  Most we had never seen before.

On our walks, we did spot some we have had in our gardens over the years we are sure.

Wait, theres more, but its happy hour, Im going cross eyed trying to remember what Ive downloaded.  The rest will have to wait for another day
